SACRAMENTAL CELEBRATIONS
The Sacrament of Baptism
Baptisms are scheduled once a month on Sunday afternoons except during Lent. Arrangements can be made through the Parish oofice. Parents and Godparents must attend a special catechetical session prior to the Baptism.
Parents are reminded that Godparents must be confirmed Catholics who are actively practicing their faith.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
This catechumenate is a process for adults wishing Baptism; for Christians of other denominations who wish to enter the Catholic Church; and for adult Catholics who desire to complete their Christian sacramental initiation with First Eucharist and/or Confirmation.
Call the rectory for information.
The Sacrament of Marriage
Church law requires that a wedding must take place in the parish to which the bride or groom belong. Arrangements should be made ideally one year in advanced of the proposed marriage in order to allow for the proper pre-marital preparation.
The Anointing of the Sick
Please notify a priest in the event of serious illness. Communal Masses of Anointing are celebrated twice a year.
Visits to the home-bound are made by Priests, Deacons and Eucharistic Ministers.
